This is Camille on a Sunday. Orange top, blue jeans, bare feet tucked under her, completely absorbed in whatever she is reading. The wine is raised not in a toast but in the absent way of someone whose hand has moved independently of their mind because their mind is entirely elsewhere inside the book, inside the story, inside some other world entirely.
He drew her quickly, afraid she would look up and the moment would end. She did not look up. The book was too good.
